Most of these photographs were taken at “the rookery”, which is somewhere in the Okavango Delta. We visited by flat-bottomed speedboat one morning. Apparently, evening is a better time to go, but we had elected to look for a cheetah that had been spotted with a kill by another group. Unfortunately, we were out of luck as lions had chased off the cheetah—the cheetah is low animal in the big cat hierarchy.
