Charles Bridge, named after King Charles IV, connects the Old Town with the Lesser Town. Presumably, at one time, people used the bridge to cross to and from their places of business or to move goods from one side of the Vlatava to another. These days the only thing the bridge seems to move is tourists, and is a trading post for more caricaturists and sketch artists than I’ve ever seen together in one place before.
These pictures were taken while enjoying a gentle boat-trip along the river.
